AutoTAC^™ Platform

Frontier has invented a novel approach to targeted degradation, termed Autophagy-Targeting Chimera or AutoTAC™, to expand the scope of targets for drug development. This approach uses chimeric molecules, similar to PROTACs. The goal of the platform is to harness the power of the autophagy degradation system to target pathological agents for elimination. It is envisioned to be simpler, faster and have higher capacity than PROTACs. The AutoTAC™ platform may be used to develop pharmaceuticals to target hard-to-drug or hard-to-PROTAC targets, as well as large protein aggregates, damaged organelles, viruses, and bacteria.
